Learning Objectives: Prerequisites: Grade of 'C' or better in BIOL 1201 and BIOL 1202. The third course for biology majors and persons who will be taking upper-level courses in biology. An in-depth study of the structure of cells, the physiology of cells, and molecular biology designed to convey basic knowledge about cells that will be needed as background for upper-level biology courses. This is the first course of a two-course sequence in molecular and cell biology for majors. (Three lecture hours per week.) Required Materials: Technical Requirements: |
