Learning Objectives: The primary objective of this course is to help students improve their public communication skills. The emphasis is on practical experiences, and therefore, lecturing by the instructor is kept at a minimum. The skills learned in the course will be useful in other courses and throughout the student's career and everyday life.
Required Materials: TEXT: Communication in Our Lives by Julia Wood and Rebecca Haines Other supplementary materials (books) are used and announced to students for each unit.
Technical Requirements: The use of the Speech Studio is required, power point for speeches, and writing tools .
