Learning Objectives: Identify and discuss fundamental principles of homeostasis and physics governing human biology Describe, compare, and contrast various physiological control systems inherent to the organ systems being studied Explain basic relationships between anatomical structure and physiological function in the human body Appreciate specific homeostatic mechanisms that correct physiological imbalances related to organ systems being studied Identify and evaluate aberrant physiology underlying human diseases related to organ systems being studied

Technical Requirements: Class attendance mandatory. 4 absences max, -1 pt of final grade for each absence 22 Course quizzes/homework assignments, 10% of final grade Laboratory assignments make up 21% of final grade 6 Course exams, 9% of the final grade each (54% total) 1 Comprehensive final, 10% of the final grade
