Learning Objectives: Students will be able to distinguish situations grounded in organizational theories at the individual, group, or organizational levels of analysis. For situations involving the individual level of analysis, students will know what actions they should take or encourage to influence effective interactions with others. For situations involving the group level of analysis, students will recognize which ones they can manage independently and which ones require intervention from more skilled managers. For situations at the organizational level of analysis, students will recognize that they are best resolved by intervention from managers at considerably higher levels than new employees entering the work force. Students will practice effective group and team skills to develop recommendations for the weekly interactive exercises.

Technical Requirements: Routine access to Blackboard and campus electronic mail systems are essential to becoming an effective learner in this course.
