Learning Objectives: Course Description: This course explores various models, strategies, and techniques appropriate for early childhood education. Virtual simulation exercises in class, observation and participation experiences with children in a Child Development Setting will be required.
Required Materials: Henniger, M. (2012) Teaching Young Children and Early Childhood Settings and Approaches. (5th Ed) New Jersey: Merrill Prentice Hall. 1. First aid and CPR for children 2. CRC-qualifying letter to work with children issued by DCDEE 3. Current TB tests and results 4. Fingerprints- needed in order to receive qualifying letter
