Levels: Undergraduate, Undergraduate Second Degree, Undergraduate Third Degree, Licensure Only, Undergraduate Distance Learning Campus Lecture Schedule Type Web-Based Instructional Method Learning Objectives: Please note that this is an 8-week course that begins in August!The course is designed for future general education teachers to gain an understanding of the needs of students with mild/moderate disabilities and how to differentiate instruction so these students have access to the general education classroom. A ten hour observation assignment in a public school setting, regular education classroom that is inclusive is required. Required Materials: Author: Mastropieri and Scruggs Title: Inclusive Classroom Publisher: PEARSON EDUCATION Edition: 6th The e-text is preferable but any version of the 6th edition is acceptable. A textbook is required. Technical Requirements: The Blackboard Collaborate sessions are required; you will need to have access to the internet and a microphone for online class discussions.
