Levels: Undergraduate, Undergraduate Second Degree, Undergraduate Third Degree, Licensure Only, Undergraduate Regular Campus Lecture Schedule Type Traditional Instructional Method Learning Objectives: At the end of the class the student learner will be able to: > Design and produce a basic resume and cover letter that will lead to an interview; > Have the capacity to compare and contrast techniques for tailoring their resume and cover letter for a specific position; > Identify and articulate the value and function of each component part of the resume; > Have the capacity to select and utilize appropriate action verbs which enhance specific accomplishments and work experiences; > Analyze and explain the value of networking as part of the job serch; > Be able to demonstrate with confidence their capacity to respond to unusual and difficult interview questions; > Identify, explain and implement the basic concepts for successful handling of money; and > Apply sound concepts of financial literacy and management.
